The Alliance to End homelessness in Suburban Cook County is offering a series of free Housing First trainings including:
· Housing First Policy and Practice: Onward to Real Fidelity – Monday, 3/21/22 – 1-2:30pm
· Housing Navigation and Landlord Engagement – Monday, 4/11/22 - 1-4pm
· Housing and Supporting People with Serious Mental Illness – Monday, 4/18/22 - 1-4pm
· Housing and Supporting People with Addiction and Substance Use – Wednesday, 3/23/22 – 1-4pm
· Hoarding Behaviors: Insights and Interventions –Tuesday, 3/8/22 – 1-3pm
· Finding Housing for People on the Sex Offender Registry or with Other Legal Obstacles – Thursday, 3/24/22 – 1pm-4pm
· Meaningful Daily Activities and Holistic Engagement in Housing – available on demand after 3/12/22
· Housing First Troubleshooting – Planning for and Responding to Particular Challenges – Monday, 4/25/22 – 10am-1pm
· Engaging and Supporting People who are Cynical About Housing – Monday, 3/7/22 – 1-2:30pm
· Housing and Supporting People with Cognitive Disabilities & Traumatic Brain Injury – Monday, 3/14/22 - 1-4pm

Some of these courses require pre-requisites courses which are also available for free. To enroll in courses, complete this Alliance Training Program Learning Management System Enrollment Survey. Within a few days after you complete the survey, you will receive login credentials and clear instructions about how to get into the system and find courses.
